In response to: Are You VA Procurement Ready?
I no longer have my GSA schedule. Had it for over 7 yrs and NEVER won anything, including every online bid that I ever saw. Can I still be competitive in offerings as a CVE SDVOSB meeting all of the other 4 “get ready” suggested criteria? A new Schedule would be cost prohibitive for us and not sure they would let us have a new one.

VITTER IS ANOTHER WHITE COLLAR CRIMINAL IN US GOVERNMENT THAT HAS FAILED TO ENSURE THAT 23% OF THE FEDERAL BUDGET IS SPENT ON U.S. GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS – INCLUDING 3% FOR SDVOSBs
VITTER IS A TRAITOR TO VETERANS LIKE JOHN McCAIN AND WILL BE RECOGNIZED AS A TRAITOR
HARDY STONE PANDERS TO HIS SPONSORS AND CENSORS COMMENTS, SO THIS WILL NOT BE POSTED DUE TO THAT FACT.
Hardy, I am not a fan of the business “meet and greet” companies. I have been to too many and I find that all they seem to be there for is to puff out their chests and show off.
I have registered at one time or another for business with probably most of these companies and have never received a dime’s worth of business let alone any communitcation.
As far as I am concerned it is a waste of time and money and in the end you feel like you were just been jerked of!
Jim asked that I reach out to you with positive feedback for the VA.
The Pittsburgh VA installed our SecurTRAK Real-time Tracking solutions starting in 2008 and recently shared that they are now saving $306K per patient (16 patients – saved $4.89 Million this past year). They no longer need to hire sitters to monitor at-risk patients 24/7. It provides veteran patients with significantly more privacy and freedom to wander the hospital on their own. Patient Care and Police Staff know precisely where patients are located in real-time if they happen to exit the hospital.
SecurTRAK helps minimize pressure on staff by knowing where all of their patients are in real-time. The savings will allow them to repurpose funds for critically needed nursing staff and medical resources to enhance veteran care. I have copied a recent letter (see below) that shared these savings with another VA facility in hopes it will help them with a solution to their similar at-risk patient challenge(s).
Jim will tell you that I’m a ‘techy’ and can really use your direction in drafting an article that will bring deserved attention to the positive things Pittsburgh VA is doing to increase patient / staff safety, optimize their processes, and save taxpayer dollars. In addition to the letter to the Orlando VA, I’ve also included a letter to the Miami VA that will give you a quick preview as to how our RTLS solutions can help them augment patient and staff safety. If interested, please feel free to join my LinkedIn profile wherein it includes VA Directors, Armed Services, other Government/Corporate entities, and additional details/videos on our RTLS solutions.

In response to: “Understanding the Rule of Two”
Supreme Court Ruling Jun 2016 makes no difference still the VA continued using GSA Contracts to award contract services. For example in contracting courier services the VA exercised contract options for Fiscal Year 2017 instead of re-competing them under the Veteran First program.
